Precast Element Types
What types of precast elements can you model and detail with IMPACT Design?
IMPACT Design brings automation to detailing and 3D modelling of all common structural precast concrete element types. Click on the images below to find more info on each specific module within IMPACT Design:
There is also a Linked Element module so anything not defined specifically for automation within the database can still be modelled and detailed. This gives you unlimited possibilities to the design workflow to incorporate other precast elements such as stairs, elements with complex geometries such as curved or architectural precast, in-situ concrete and steel components such as DELTA beams from Peikko©.
IMPACT Design gives flexibility for you to model and detail hybrid structures which are both becoming more and more prevalent with offsite prefabrication, modern methods of construction (MMC) and design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA).
IMPACT Design is available as a suite with the entire range of elements or can be broken down into individual modules so if you were just producing hollowcore slabs makes the software more competitive for smaller Precast Producers.
The automation within IMPACT Design includes precast element edge details, chamfers (end caps) and components which includes, but is not limited to the reinforcement, shape codes, connections, cast-in materials, and electrical components (MEP).
