IMPACT API
The IMPACT API can be used to connect other systems with the IMPACT SQL database. It is designed to handle connections between IMPACT and other systems like for example an economy/finance system e.g. SAP, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc.
Instead of working with data in two different systems the IMPACT API can set them up to communicate to one another and in real time.
Practically it means that the IMPACT API has a set of functions that can be used by a programmer to different activities with the IMPACT data such as post, get…
Some examples of IMPACT functionalities that you can access through the API are:
- Create an IMPACT project
- Get detailed precast element data such as length, width, height, weight, element status etc.
- Set statuses
The IMPACT API is a RESTful service and consist of requests and responses from an IMPACT web service.
Your application can send and receive JSON data from the IMPACT API. JSON is an open standard data format that is lightweight and human-readable, and looks like XML. When you request content from or send content to the API, the response will also be returned in JSON.
The IMPACT API comes with an detailed documentation homepage (with a login) of the existing functions. We can provide full support to help you setup and configure the API if required too. The IMPACT API and any related services are charged in addition to any IMPACT software license. Click here for the IMPACT API Homepage.
