Foundation Design
The Foundation Design module in FEM-Design structural analysis software helps you perform geotechnical checks of complete 3D structures, or just frames.
The study and modification of soil and rocks should be a top priority when you run complex structural designs and want to assure sustainability, stability and safety. FEM-Design allows you to model varying stiffness in different types of foundations allowing detailed analysis to prevent potential negative construction outcomes.

Foundation Design Geotechnical Checks
The FEM-Design Foundation Module helps you perform geotechnical checks of foundations such as column and strip foundations, slabs and piles. It makes it possible for you to calculate the bedding modulus based on the interaction with soil modelled in 3D, with different layers and ground water. Potential insulation under the foundations can be considered too. Model data is used to calculate ground load bearing capacity, the slip resistance and check foundation eccentricity and settlements.
