DIMENSION Steel with fire
Designs cross-sections of steel beams and columns according to the European standard. The program can be used for double symmetrical cross-sections (I-sections and tube sections as well as solid sections).
The program includes the possibility to design cross-sections for a set of specified internal forces in ultimate limit state and fire cases.
The program can calculate columns for normal force, shear force and moments about both axis, according to method I of the European standard.
In fire cases the temperature in the profile is determined and the strength is reduced. Fire insulation can be applied. The program can print the results to document the calculations.
