Transitioning from WIN/DIM/JIGI to SIMPLEX

What You Need to Know

Starting January 2026, we are initiating a structured transition from our structural design tools (WIN-Statik, DIMENSION, JIGI) to the modern, browser-based SIMPLEX platform.

This transition is aligned with the upcoming 2nd Generation Eurocodes, which will become mandatory in 2028. SIMPLEX offers enhanced usability, cloud access, future-proof compliance and is API-ready.

Why SIMPLEX?

SIMPLEX is more than just a new software platform – it is our strategic response to the future of 2D structural design. With the upcoming 2nd Generation Eurocodes becoming mandatory in 2028, the industry is approaching a significant technological and regulatory milestone. Our existing tools (WIN-Statik, DIMENSION, and JIGI) have served the market well for many years, and while they will continue to be maintained and updated for compliance with the 1st Generation Eurocodes, they will not be extended to support the 2nd Generation.

This is why we are developing SIMPLEX – a modern, browser-based platform that combines:

  • Future-proof compliance with the new Eurocodes
  • Enhanced usability and cloud-based access
  • API integration for automation and workflow customisation
  • AI-ready architecture

SIMPLEX is built on our proven calculation engines, but with a completely new interface and technical foundation that enables faster, more efficient development and maintenance. It is an investment in the future – both for our customers and for us.

Starting January 2026, existing maintenance agreements will gradually increase by an extra 10% per year over 7 years. This reflects the added value of SIMPLEX and includes a built-in loyalty discount of 33% compared to subscription pricing.

What you get:

  • Automatic access to SIMPLEX apps equivalent to your current licenses
  • No change in subscription pricing – you continue paying the same as today
  • Dual access: You keep your existing design tools and gain access to SIMPLEX apps
  • Double the number of concurrent users – one license gives access to both platforms simultaneously
  • No need to sign new license agreements
  • Free onboarding and training
  • Built-in API for integration into your workflows
  • Gradual pricing harmonization for maintenance customers
  • Loyalty discounts built into the transition

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The upcoming 2nd Generation Eurocodes will become mandatory in 2028. Our design tools (WIN/DIM/JIGI) will not be updated to support them. SIMPLEX is built to meet these new standards and offers a modern, cloud-based experience.

No. Subscription pricing remains unchanged. You continue paying the same as today and get access to new SIMPLEX apps.

No. If you have an active maintenance or subscription agreement, you will automatically receive access to the SIMPLEX apps that match your current licenses.

No. You will keep your existing tools and gain access to the new SIMPLEX apps. You get both, and  – at no extra cost

Yes. Each license gives access to both the existing and SIMPLEX version of the app. This means double the number of concurrent users.

No. The transition happens within your existing agreement. No new contracts are required.

Starting January 2026, existing maintenance agreements will gradually increase by an extra 10% per year over 7 years. This reflects the added value of SIMPLEX and includes a built-in loyalty discount of 33% compared to subscription pricing.

You’ll gain access as soon as your program is released within SIMPLEX.

Yes. Most apps in SIMPLEX are API-ready, allowing integration into your digital workflows.

Your access is based on your current licenses. For example:

  • WIN Statik Concrete Beam → SIMPLEX Beam
  • DIM Foundation → SIMPLEX Foundation
  • DIM Column → SIMPLEX Column
  • DIM Basement Wall → SIMPLEX Basement Wall
  • JIGI Frame → SIMPLEX Frame

Yes. Our onboarding team will guide you through the transition and offer training sessions, including webinars and 1:1 support.

We’ll contact you directly when your SIMPLEX apps are available and help you get started.

Transition Roadmap

From Legacy to Simplex

Now
Q3 2027
Q2 2028
Onwards
Stage 01 Stage 02 Stage 03
Stage 1: First-Generation Eurocode
Now → Q3 2027
During this stage, we are introducing the SIMPLEX apps alongside our legacy software. Existing users of WIN-Statik, DIMENSION, JIGI and Matrix Geo will receive access to the corresponding SIMPLEX apps, in addition to their current licences, as soon as they become available. This gives you double licences and access to both platforms at the same time, helping you move to SIMPLEX gradually and with minimal disruption.
Stage 2: Transition Period
Q3 2027 → Q2 2028
During the Eurocode transition period, SIMPLEX will become the platform to be used for Eurocode generation 2. The basic Eurocode is already in place, and we are ready to implement the national annexes as they become available. You will still retain access to your existing WIN-Statik, DIMENSION, JIGI and Matrix Geo licences, but those legacy products will remain on Eurocode generation 1 and will not be updated to generation 2.
Stage 3: Second-Generation Eurocode
After Q2 2028
After the transition period, SIMPLEX will continue to grow with new products and innovations. The legacy products will still be available for old projects and for access to old calculation files. SIMPLEX is the future-proof platform for second-generation Eurocode and a future with AI-aided engineering.
