Parametric Structures
Event info

Date update: The Parametric Structures webinar is scheduled for April 7, 2026. We apologise for the earlier date error from the mail.
FE models can take time to make, and usually, it is paid professionals who build those models. Therefore, any productivity gain in this work is welcome. FEM-Design Parametric Structures is a productivity tool. We cannot promise it will do your whole structure, but it will definitely boost productivity. Almost every engineer who uses FE has some repetitive structural parts, and automation and parametrisation of those increases productivity.
Building automation does not have to take months or years like programming or API scripts experience, nor does it require a lot of monetary investment. If you spend a few hours learning Parametric Structures, you are already on your way to increasing productivity. This free 45-minute webinar that we are organising is the first step in that journey. The downside is probably small, so why wouldn’t you give it a try?
You can be a steel structural designer, a concrete engineer, or a bridge engineer, or maybe you do civil engineering like retaining walls, tanks, or similar structures – everyone can benefit from small productivity boosts. You cannot just add beams, walls, slabs, or hollow-core slabs to your FE model – you can also add loads, supports, and capacities to your parametric model. Think a bit broader, and you will start to see the benefits of parametrisation in modelling. Of course, the highest productivity gains come in structures with many repeating elements, such as trusses, telecommunication towers, or powerline towers.
So, do you really want to use FEM-Design Parametric Structures, and are you ready to learn it?
Why should you participate?
- Learn the basics of FEM-Design Parametric Model, which every FEM-Design user can use
- Learn the capabilities and limitations of Parametric Structures
- Learn strategies that really work in a parametric model and modelling techniques
- Learn through lots of practical, useful examples
- Eventually really save money.
Discover practical ways to work more efficiently and reduce costs over time.
DATE: Tue, Apr 7, 2026 – 12:00 PM – 01:00 PM CEST
The webinar is free.
Participants will also receive free example models after the session to support further learning and experimentation.
Event registration has ended.
