Automation can make robustness analysis more efficient

The important, but time-consuming, work with robustness analysis of buildings can be made more efficient by using automated workflows.

"Nicolai Nørgaard and Mathias Nielsen are both newly graduated Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from DTU. In their joint thesis, they have developed a tool that can make robustness analysis of buildings faster and more comprehensive by using Computational Engineering/Design. 

In short, the thesis is focused on removing loadbearing elements in a building and calculating the consequences for the safety of the building – the so-called robustness analysis, which is an important but time-consuming process." Read more → here
