F&M Proiect is one of the leading Precast Design companies in Romania and have found StruSoft support to be invaluable with their investment in a suite of software.
Throughout the years, F&M Proiect has tested and used a lot of software. They have experience with almost every software available in the Romanian market with the objective to always optimise and save time, without having to sacrifice accuracy in the results. In 2016 they acquired both FEM-Design and PRE-Stress from StruSoft and in 2020 they decided to close the circle and buy IMPACT.
Established in 2002 they are specialist is in architecture, planning & design for precast concrete structures. The company is located in Cluj-Napoca, which is the second-largest city in Romania and 1st when it comes to cost per square meter.
For this article, we interviewed one of the Partners and Chief Design Engineer, Alexandru Marcu, and Team Leader, Robert Veskan.
Asked if StruSoft’s software helps them in their design optimisation process, Alexandru Marcu commented:
“We believe the design process is efficient in our company. We are trying to always make it even better. We use StruSoft software daily and it helps us a lot, we believe they have a high optimisation potential. It is up to us to use them at full capacity”.
StruSoft is always looking for client feedback and based on that we optimise our support, training and software developments. When asked how F&M Proiect would rate the StruSoft Support response time, Alexandru Marcu commented:
“We are satisfied by the response time so far and we noticed an improvement in developing it further in this sense”,
Robert Veskan agreed
“The support system is one of the best we encountered so far.”
We wanted to find out, while all the information is fresh, how the implementation process with IMPACT was going and the relationship with the StruSoft staff.
”In the implementation phase, this relationship played a key role. The relationship with the StruSoft Team is perfect. This is another main characteristic of this software.” said Alexandru Marcu.
Robert Veskan continues:
“We consider it crucial in the sense that when you buy a license from StruSoft, the staff help you with basic training so you can get started to design right away which is a great selling point”.
