I am getting in touch as I would like to invite you to a free webinar I am hosting about the process of handling of steel design.

Steel stability verification according to EN 1993-1-1 is at first glance, a simple process.
Steel is a linear material and buckling can be easily calculated with automated design of software.

High slenderness and high stresses create a demanding design process as the loading of a structure and its parts increase. This makes the process very complex and the exact process, according to EN 1993-1-1, can only be handled by the User.
Three possible analysis method paths, combined with six different initial deviation types makes the handling of the process in demanding structures a complex task.
Also, steel usually forms a very lightweight structure, so vibrations and dynamic analysis are more important than in concrete structures.
